Before this Dexter served as International Insurance and Risk Director at a boutique consulting firm in England, Switzerland and Turkey, where he launched global insurance programs to centralize risk management for international organizations, reducing insurance spend substantially while maximizing coverage in alignment with business requirements. In this same position, he developed risk training for global organizations’ senior leadership and arbitrated employment disputes, resulting in a significant reduction in employment claims and litigations and multiple media interviews, including one from the International Herald Tribune. Furthermore, he counselled the Executive Committees of AXA Insurance in the Arabian Gulf, a leading global insurer, on legal matters including the largest and most sensitive claims, arbitrations, litigations, legal developments, RFPs, policy reviews, and regulatory trends. His other senior roles in the risk and insurance arena have included a global IT & Telecom company, a Lloyds of London Broker and an eminent tourism/property development corporation.

He co-authored the book Tackling Insurance Fraud: Law & Practice, often described as the “Encyclopedia of Insurance Fraud” and was a contributing author to Informa’s Guide to Reinsurance Law.
